Short description

Backcourt is a free basketball management simulation for iOS and Android. You sign the roster, share out 240 minutes a night, give every player a role, then watch the match play out possession by possession on a live court — and decide when to call the timeout that saves the night.

Long description

Backcourt puts you in both chairs: general manager and head coach. The club is yours to build through a transfer market that negotiates back, where every player carries a value and an asking price and the gap between them tells you whether he is genuinely available. A season is thirty-eight games over a 45-week calendar across two conferences, with a Play-In and a playoff bracket for the top eight in each.

What separates it from a spreadsheet is the match engine. Games play out on a live half-court with player markers, pass lines and a running commentary feed stamped with the quarter and clock, at speeds from 1× to 8× or skipped entirely. Afterwards every player is graded against expectation rather than against the raw box score — and then the locker room waits to hear what you have to say, with morale and form consequences that follow you into the next week.

Career mode runs offline on the device. The Online League matches you against real managers on a fixed schedule, with a persistent global rating and end-of-season placement rewards. Nothing in the game can be bought to make a squad stronger.
